THE OLFACTION

To conjure the refined atmosphere of 6 PLACE SAINT SULPICE, the Master Perfumer Carlos Benaïm has chosen warm ambery labdanum. The warm, golden resin of the Mediterranean rock rose, echoing the hue of the signature YSL Cassandre gracing the boutique’s façade , exudes a smooth, woody aroma with hints of honey and a delicate touch of leather.

Highlighting the lush balsamic material, a bright aromatic accord showcasing lavender gives the scent the streamlined cut of Yves Saint Laurent’s designs. A cocktail of spices, driven by the earthy, leathery tones of precious saffron, textures the sophisticated blend.

THE INSPIRATION

In 1979, the women who were addicted to Yves Saint Laurent flocked to his historic boutique at 6, place Saint Sulpice. All the charm and character of the iconic address are distilled in the sillage of its fragrance, a dialogue between, the richness of smooth leather and the animal sensuality of labdanum. Between an avant-garde sensibility and a yearning for eternity, 6 place Saint Sulpice embodies the house’s unceasing creativity.

YSL 6 Place Saint Sulpice Eau de Parfum belongs to the Oriental leather fragrance family, distinguished by the blend of fresh citrus notes, warm spices, and luxurious leather. The fragrance opens with bergamot, lavender, and clary sage, offering a fresh, elegant, and pleasant sensation. This is followed by saffron, coriander, and nutmeg, creating a mildly spicy, warm, and deep aroma. Finally, labdanum resin and a leather accord meld together, leaving a warm, soft sensation with a subtle and lingering leather finish.
The specific 3-layer fragrance structure is as follows:

Top notes: Bergamot Essence, Lavender Essence, Clary Sage.
Heart notes: Saffron Essence, Coriander Essence, Nutmeg Essence.

Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Return Conditions

1.1 Refusal upon delivery: Upon receipt, please inspect the exterior of the package (box condition, packaging, seal) before signing. The carrier does not support open-box inspection upon delivery. You may refuse the delivery if:

The packaging or shipping box is torn, dented or damaged;
The seal has been broken or is not intact;
The number of packages does not match your order.

1.2 Issues found after opening the package: As open-box inspection is not available upon delivery, you may request a return or exchange for issues that can only be identified after opening the package, including:

Manufacturing defects;
Wrong product or shade delivered compared to your order;
Missing quantity, accessories or gifts with purchase;
Product damaged inside the package.

Request timeline and method: Please contact Customer Service within 5 business days from the date of successful delivery, with available proof (photos or video of the shipping label, packaging condition and the unboxing process).

Non-eligible cases: Apart from the cases stated in sections 1.1 and 1.2, YSL does not accept returns or exchanges, including:

Products that have been unsealed and used;
Requests for personal reasons (product not suitable, change of mind after purchase);
Requests submitted after the 5-business-day period stated in section 1.2.

2. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 45–60 business days from the date the delivery is refused or the return request is confirmed.
